It��s is nice and you can in fact use it for cooking however if you are cooking something like chili or rice it will probably burn on the bottom even if you stir often. The base is VERY thin and in my opinion they could have made it twice as thick without adding a ton of weight and this would then not be an issue. It��s very durable though and great for just boiling water if you are using dehydrated backpacking food.

The pot isn't suitable for use on an open fire because the silicone will burn. It's primarily designed for use with a gas canister or a small wood stove, which creates another issue: the concentrated heat can cause food to burn and stick to the pot. Despite these considerations, it's still a great item to travel with.

We just used this on our camping trip to boil water and make mac'n cheese. This worked really well on our camp stove and is perfect for storage. Interested in getting another one.

Love this. Easy to stow. Works great on my gas stove. Size is nice and large for a pot of pasta. But not so big that it��s annoying to store.

Bought this for my camping trip to Montana and loved the size and how compact it is considering I have tons of camping gear to pack. Cooks everything as it should. Just need to keep the fire low so it doesn��t burn the food.

We camp in a slide in camper, so space is always hard to find. Collapsible cookware like this is an awesome addition.
